Fairs will play a leadership role in the firm's U.S. and International Wealth business
NEW YORK CITY (March 11, 2014) – RBC Wealth Management-U.S. announced that Kevin Fairs has joined its U.S. and International Private Banking team as Head of New York Private Banking and Transnational Strategy. Fairs is based in New York City and reports to Julian Stienstra, Managing Director of U.S. and International Private Banking at RBC Wealth Management – U.S.
In his new role, Fairs will focus on the business development of the New York private banking business, with responsibility for driving business growth and recruiting experienced, globally-minded private bankers. The addition of Fairs represents RBC's commitment to grow and strengthen its New York operations in the international and U.S. private banking business with its global ultra high-net-worth and high-net-worth client segments.

Fairs joined RBC in December 2011 as Director of Strategy for Global Trust in the United Kingdom and the United States, and was subsequently named Head of Sales Strategy and Client Experience.
Prior to joining RBC, Fairs held a director role at Scotiabank where he was responsible for recruiting and developing wealth management teams in its North American retail advisory and private client group. Fairs has also held roles at Lloyds Bank and Santander.
