Mr. Vaughan supervises the investment activities and services our financial advisors and other securities industry professionals deliver to individuals and small businesses. He is responsible for 64 branch offices in Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia.
Mr. Vaughan emigrated from Dublin, Ireland in 1981. He began his brokerage career in 1983 at Kidder Peabody as a retail broker and became a sales manager of the Baltimore office. Mr. Vaughan joined Ferris, Baker Watts in 1990 where he held numerous roles, including branch manager of the Baltimore office, regional sales manager and director of sales. He was director of the Private Client Group when Ferris, Baker Watts joined RBC Wealth Management in 2008. Mr. Vaughan attended Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration and a Higher Diploma in education.
Mr. Vaughan serves on the board of the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore and is active with the Caroline Center of Baltimore, which helps unemployed women find jobs in a career with potential for advancement. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise, reading, travel and coaching various youth sports teams through the local recreation council.
